cordless phone. And that’s easy once you have

Motorola is all set to manufacture what would be
called the ‘smart’ phone for Visor PDAs. News
is that Palm has entered into a contract with
Motorola to create an application whereby a normal
Visor PDA could be used as a wireless phone thus
serving a dual-purpose for the users. Those
interested would be given an annual service
contract although the company that would provide
service is not known yet. Nothing is specifically
known about the technology to be used but with the
cooperation of multiple companies agreeing to do
the peripherals to boost the look and feel of the
product we should be hoping for the best. What’s
more stimulating to learn is that Motorola rival
Nokia has also extended a helping hand in the
project. Time for a jamboree?
